Roman Contractors was engaged by Tweed Shire Council to install and test a new sewer rising main section at Banora Point, New South Wales. To construct the sewer raising mains, Roman Contractors was required to supply, excavate, bed, lay and backfill the sewer raising mains. As part of the project, Roman Contractors was required to construct a temporary sewer bypass which included the submission and approval of a Sewer Bypass Plan. Roman Contractors also undertook testing of the sewer rising main, and restoration and reinstatement works comprising the supply and laying of topsoil.
