| Project Description | The scope of this project involved the demolition of the existing Crab Viewing Platform as well as the construction of a replacement platform. The platform is supported by Surefoot Piles with no allowance for plant or machinery onsite due to the environmentally sensitive nature of the site. 1km of existing timber boardwalk was the only access to the section requiring replacement. All materials including demolition transported along the existing boardwalk structure to avoid damage to mangroves and salt couch. |
